Venus at least has the psychedelic production going on ala David Bowie, and Dope is the best songwriting on the album and has already been critically acclaimed hence they both have a better shot at being hits than Donatella, a song about a woman most people don't give a crap about; she's a brand, not a person we want to hear a song about whose lyrics are half unintelligible and half incomprehensible.
The stanning for Venus I could understand because it had performances, it's Gaga produced, Gaga adores the song, it was meant to be the second single, many assumed there was a MV in the wings for it ( ), etc...
But Donatalla... I don't get this stanning. Nobody who stans for that song can ever moan when Gaga's charting or sales slump like they did for the past two weeks because songs like Donatella are the exact reason why it's happening. Gaga would never have put a monstrosity like it on TFM.

I think we have an really difference view on what the GP wants. The reason why she is "slump"
or what you said on the charts is not because of songs like Donatella.

The GP is pretty
much tired of getting alienated by her. What she needs most now is to be seen as an normal pop artist.
Well less crazy and gimmicky after an era like
Born This Way.
Donatella is an perfect way or an right direction but of course, Gypsy is the right decision right now.
But Donatella would not been an major flop like some of y'all trying to make it out to be.
Learn not to mix personal taste with what the GP may want.
