Precisely. "Roar" has to be the safest, vapid, most generic song I have ever heard in my life;
not exaggerating. Only suburban soccer moms and their tweens like that song. But
that's a big enough fanbase to make it successful, unfortunately. And those are
the types of records the public will continue to receive for rewarding it so.
Gaga's 3 singles so far have been good, but she is far past the point of releasing "good" tracks and having them smash just because it's her.. She needed an anthem for this album and she got none of those.
