What's wrong about writing about pop culture and things you believe in? I'd be the first to admit that ARTPOP fell dreadfully short of ambition and is her least artistic album by far but I don't think we should confine musicians to a standard in which they can only discuss rudimentary feelings I at least appreciate Gaga for having that scope, despite the fact she really missed the target

yes, people can be invested in the character of the music.. for only a certain amount of time. Speechless,Telephone and Bad Romance are quite relatable and fun in a way.. because it had balance. but ARTPOP? it's all about Art and Seashells,etc. no one wants that.

that's the thing. it was toooooo extreme to the point that you can say.. WTF is this? there's absolutely no consideration for the audience whatsoever.. ofc, i applaud her for doing what she likes but she has nothing to blame but herself about the result.

Yonce and feminism is very relatable imo. because it also encourages inner strength and as we know, people want to be empowered.. esp. women.
