Like I said songs rarely get promote so much at the beginning expect if you Lady GaGa or Katy.

I agree I wasn't expecting massive promo first week but the song is legit free falling. Roc needs to get on some shady tactics. I heard on the radio whenever Katy Perry releases a single she sends radio stations posters and free tickets to give a way to get them to play the song. Also some labels send radio executives on fancy dinners to sway them as well. Roc needs to step their not-payola payola game up.

Jk, ~~not really~~ . But a BTS videos need to start rolling up or something. Also debuting the video on the E! special is an extremely weird tactic but as long as it's up on Vevo it can get her streaming. Also they are definitely not performing at the grammys because if they were it'd be announced by now.

And it's highly unlikely considering the cost of Super Bowl commercials can go into the millions since they're the most coveted advertisement spots of the year. Nobody's gonna spend that on a Shakira song.

no, she has a contract with Oral B...so she can be feautured there, she has one with T Mobile, she has one with The Voice, she has one with (probably) with PEPSI....so yes she can be feautured in the superbowl.....

Isn't Shakira like the artist who appeared in a SuperBowl ad the most? It actually wouldn't be surprising to see Pepsi use her song to promote their products, it's a win/win for both .It's not something revolutionary for endorsers to use their spokeperson music.

This actually the most realistic case. She probably decided to finish the album by the end of January and start the promotion February till March.

People are worrying too much about this song. It's seriously infectious IMO, grows on me with each listen.
Let's wait for the video and promo, I'll bet it'll come through and be at least a moderate hit, it's too good to flop!

Ya'll let's just be optimistic.

The video will probably save the song.
If not, Beyonce didn't need a hit to sell ha last 2 albums so Shakira is still good.
The song is probably a top 15 hit which is very good.

But I'm not here for ATRL dragging us next week when the song drops. It's at #52 on itunes (it keeps glitching up and down) and has very low airplay. I doubt it can maintain top 40.

The song is deff not good, and Shakira just killed it by releasing the spanish(if you can call it that) version, which will now divide the sales in 2.. Just like Loca was a huge hit in spanish, and flopped hardcore in English. She already did some promo by going to radios and still the song keeps going down.

I'm guessing since the album is coming out in March, that she is releasing a second single .. hopefully nothing rock .. because everyone knows, she will flop with that .. (if anyone needs reminded objection was like 50 on the billboard charts)

Lastly for all the geniuses on here saying she will perform at the beginning of the voice ..The Voice isn't going to air live until the "live shows" .. meaning, No, shakira wont be performing that anytime soon, or someone in the audience etc would have commented on it.

In conclusion ... thats it lol
