Beyonce is more a full package performer. No once comes close to that. Sorry not even King of Pop himself.
---------------------------------------------
People are forgetting about Justin Timberlake. He is pretty good too. He can sing and his dancing skills are pretty good.
Another artist to look out for is Janelle Monae. She has prince qualities and her belts are insane.
I agree. I think MJ is fantastic but just like Beyonce is very influenced by MJ, Tina, Diana, etc., MJ has very clear influences which people often forget when praising him as someone no one else could touch and I think vocally he is less unique than Beyonce.

sis..... How is Michael Jackson less unique vocally? He literally has the most iconic voice and vocal style in history. The ticks and breathing, the vocal hiccups, the growls, the unending falsetto, the exclamations, the staccato singing...
I think this performance really exemplies how she is one of the greatest performers of all time and how unique her performing/talents are. 10 minutes of non-stop TOP NOTCH live vocals along with amazing high energy choreography. Not many females in could have pulled this off.

Well, I've been listening to a lot of funk lately, a lot of Stevie Wonder and I hear a lot of Michael Jackson's stylings in the recordings of this time. Of course he has his unique parts of his voice that are very iconic (due to his exposure), but I don't find his overall style to be that singular.
She's not worse either. They're different but equal in skill.
The Girlie Show La Isla Bonita Choreo>>>>>>
She's worse. Her choreo is good, but she looks very stiff and awkward a lot of the times. She doesn't have as much grace as Bey and her execution isn't as sharp.

And yes, MJ was influenced by Stevie, but he was also influenced by James Brown. MJ developed his own style in the 80's, which was like a mix of James Brown and Stevie Wonder. Rough, fluid and fast. To claim his vocal styling aren't unique is a stretch, especially considering he influenced Bey's staccato singing. It's very evident in Bootylicious for instance, where she's basically mimicking him. That whole song was, stylistically, a tribute to him.
Lol @ folks naming artist who can't sing and dance, Britney , Janet and Madonna, were just good dancers not vocalist. As far as females, Tina Turner is the only one that comes close to Bey, but Bey is the best imo out of all the female artist that can sang and dance.

I think if you mean performers, she is in the top 5 or top 10 of all time.
But if you mean someone who is that good at singing (incredible vocalist) AND that good at dancing at the same time then yes, she is. This is a no brainier at all.
These, more or less. Tina is the only one who was in the same league as far as delivering a top notch live vocal WITH the dancing. A handful of the names being thrown around lipped (not even sang over a backing track) a good chunk of their most famous performances. Michael was a good-not-great vocalist and an exceptional dancer/innovator. I'm not as familiar with James Brown (obviously seen vids of his before, but I don't know him like the back of my hand like Bey, Tina etc) so I'll hold off on placing him for the time being while I re-educate myself

Whitney Houston was a better vocalist. MJ, Madonna, and Janet are all better dancers.
Not sure how this is relevant to the OP's question though.

And I think that Michael, Prince, James and Tina were/are great vocalists/singers, but Bey is the best in that area in that grouping even though they're all really great. I think she's the first vocalist of her level to be able to perform at such a high level. But, when you get into all around/total package bests, that's where it gets tricky, because all of their individual all around/overall skill sets best her all around skills.
Considering all talents and how their various talents are combined, I don't think she has an all-around superlative; however, I do feel like she's one of a kind in her skills with the way her talents are distributed if that makes sense.
True. The four you listed are generally good-not-great vocalists. Solid, great voices, but not quite virtuosic in terms of technical execution and so on.
And regarding your second paragraph I more or less agree, put simply she's the best vocalist of any "all-round" performer basically. Anyone who can empirically be considered as "≥ Beyonce" if we were to make a list of the best vocalists in popular music based on vocal pedagogy (ie: Whitney, Mariah, Barbra, Aretha) are those that simply stand in front of a mic and sing. There is no "entertainer/performer" who would objectively rank ahead of her.
My list
1. Michael Jackson (80's Jackson>>>>>all)
2. James Brown/Prince (they have the same skills)
4. Tina Turner/Beyoncé (same energy)
5. Janelle Monae
My list
1. Beyonce/Michael Jackson
--------------------------------------------------
MJ did not really interact with his audience. Plus he rarely had a live singing performances. The reason why he is rated so high, is that he had so much energy and of course, sex appeal. Also, he is a lot better at freestyle when it comes to dancing. Beyonce can sing well live, her dance skills are good, plus she interacts more with the audience. Also her energy level is comparable to Tina Turner. Most of all, she can perform to different musical genres.
2. James Brown/Prince/Tina Turner
------------------------------------
A lot of energy. Repetitive dance moves. Microphone stand artists can't be #1 on my list. But they can definitely work the mic better than anybody else. Vocals are appropriate for their genre of music, rock and roll.
3. Janelle Monae/Justin Timberlake
---------------------------
Both are great singers and they really know how to work the stage. Janelle has more potential to go to #2 later in her career. Her talent is out of this world.
4. Janet Jackson
-----------------
She is all dance, when it comes to performing. This is not bad. But I wish she interacted more with her audience. Her dance skills are sometimes even better than her brother. But MJ had more energy.
Honorable mention:
If Nicole S. had better hits, she would be on this list. She is an amazing dancer and her singing potential is mind boggling.

To be honest I haven't listened to MJ's entire discography but obviously I have heard a lot of it. And I know Beyonce has lots of strong influences but when I listen to them I don't necessarily think "oh that sounds like Beyonce there" whereas listening to someone like Stevie there were many times that "that sounds like MJ" happened which is why I meant her voice was more unique. It still has strong influences but I guess it's just better integrated into her own style. But, it's all subjective I guess.

I'm gonna have to correct a few things.....
MJ sang live in the 70's and 80's and some of the time in the early 90's. His last tour was completely lipsynced, as were some of his TV performaces when he's dancing (because that was the norm). But he most definitely sang live and he sang live while dancing on tour.
And he did somewhat interact with his audience. He would bring girls up to dance with him during slow songs. He would also command his audience to start singing along with him during the big songs, stuff like this @ 2:00
Beyonce isn't a great dancer. She is not even close to Janet's, MJ, Jlo's, paula's, and numerous other dancers league. If anything she is the best dancer with vocal ability. Because she is the best dancer out of all the vocal divas. Whitney, patti, mariah, etcc..
