"Barely" really? You do realize she has 2 singles out right? the fact that she is already on the main pop radio charts yet 1) it hasn't even been added to pop 2) she has done literally 0 promo 3) the songs just came out. Some people stay negating facts, it's scary

She is not pop because she doesn't make solely pop music but she is a popular artist hence why she can be a contender. And there is no contradiction/hypocrisy here because no one except Madonna is ever going to be Queen Of Pop but it is still a compliment to be recognized by a popular source/outlet as such.
