I've mentioned this before. It wasn't adding RIhanna that makes "Can't Remember To Forget You" feel cheap, it's that incessantly constant,
No Doubt-esque island-guitar-synth sound throughout the entire track. It's very cheap and amateur. I can tell Shakira had "Producer's Block," and thought the track "needed something," and then threw in that constant sound at the last minute -- it's very tacked on and just cheapens the entire track. Although Rihanna is not really needed on the track, both Rihanna and Shakira sound fantastic on the record -- it just desperately needed a different production. The music video will be a hot festival of eye candy, though. So, there's that to look forward to, at least.
