It's disgusting how much of you turn out to be just stanning for statistics/charts. While my so-called "fave" is "slaying", I may punch her in other people's face, especially by putting theirs' down. When somebody says she's not, she's becoming less strong weapon, so I'm close to throw away my stan card. I mean tbh no one in here has really been bashing the song... we all like the reggae/rock direction and have praised it plenty of times. We may have critiques, but that doesn't mean we dislike the song. Of course we want the song to do well on the charts, we want our favorite artists to succeed. The lead-up to this song really made me attached to the good sis Shakira... I've kind of gotten into her discography and she is a complete sweetheart. I want this song to do well because they're two global artists who took a risk. That's praise-worthy imo. My love for the song, especially the verses, will not change because of it's chart position. But you guys act like this doesn't happen in every song thread on ATRL

I want Shakira to smash before her album comes out, I want her and Rihanna to perform this together, and I want the song to do well. How is that a bad thing? If we only stanned for US chart success we probably would've left this thread by now and never came back
