I think the lack of anticipation for Katy's new music despite her tweets about being the studio is very telling. She's going to open with a low number and it'll be embarrassing.

Gaga. Her album will sell more again (regardless of ChandlerBing's deflated numbers for Gaga), her lead & first few singles will be bigger worldwide, and her tour will once again triple Katy's or perhaps do even better, with much of North America not seeing her since the Monster Ball.
