Not everything has to be serious to be good. Just because Adele doesn't sing about partying and dancing the night away doesn't mean that she's any more talented as a songwriter than Ke$ha. It's not that easy to write a catchy hit that resonates with an entire population.

Dinosaur and Grow A Pear are laughable in a good way, and that's why Ke$ha's songwriting is better. It makes you FEEL something. Adele makes you feel sad. Ke$ha makes you feel happy and laugh. I'd take option B over option A any day.
