Dreamlover and Fantasy are basically the same too. That's the biggest critic of Mariah's career- her music has always been too same-y and safe, no matter how good/solid. But we aren't artists so we can't critic.
I love Mariah, but her early and mid 90s music was so manufactured and safe. She was basically that decades Katy Perry (with talent) but she had ZERO competition because her husband was the record exec so he did all in his power to get her to the top. Thus her string of number ones. Once she broke away from him she stumbled a little because the label turned on her
