Listen, I'm having some major beef with alleged Hive in the "Give Up Your Stan Card?" thread. 4 is a Bey MASTERPIECE. Until the flaw-free BEYONCE', it stayed unbothered as her best collective work - a display of her vocal artistry full of beautiful arrangements and risks. Y'all should know much better! Can these Hive be saved and see the light? I CARE.
That era delivered some of the most iconic moments of her career. Blue Ivy, Superbowl, Inauguration/Obama, etc. Plus, the album itself was amazing and produced the classic "Love On Top" and another signature song for her, "Run The World (Girls)."

i'm sorry but some of you people on this forum wouldn't no good music if it bit you in the penis. honestly, i've been on this forum for only a few days and it astounds me how if something doesn't sell as good as it should it's considered a flop. WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC? no one ever talks about the quality of the music. 4 is an excellent, excellent R&B/Pop record, and i think it's amazing that people would dare to call something like that or even ARTPOP a flop. Why should we care what the general public decides to buy?
and for the people who don't like 4 I dare you to listen to Love on Top, Rather Die Young, End of TIme, and Countdown and tell me they're not bops.
It's not iconic. ATRL needs to stop using that word so loosely.
No shade, but there is no other word to describe that Jay Z rehearsal video other than "iconic." When we consider what this amazing woman can do vocally, we will look to that iconic video.

Thanks for praising this masterpiece, the Hive doesn't give a **** because it underperformed. BEYONCE is mediocre but of course its gonna have all the praise because its selling well.
Iconic isn't the right word tho, Iconic would mean that it had an impact and it didn't. The right title is "Underrated Masterpiece"

I'm not anti it at all.
This. Not to mention it spawned several fan favorites such as End of Time, Countdown and Love On Top.

Thank You 4 is by far her best album followed by B'Day and then BEYONCE.
