The Hollywood Foreign Press have no class, hence why Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Lawrence received Golden Globes. Leonardo DiCaprio 110% deserves an Academy Award for Best Actor in "The Wolf of Wall Street." It's the best performance he has given in his entire career, and that's saying something. I wouldn't be too upset if Chiwetel Ejiofor takes it, but Leonardo DiCaprio deserves it more.

You got it all messed up.
Fassbender and McConaughey are not in the same category - Fassbender is supporting, and in that category Jared Leto is the clear frontrunner so far.

I didn't say Michael Fassbender and Matthew McConaughey were in the same category. Matthew McConaughey, IF he gets a nomination, will be placed in the Best Actor category along with Leonardo DiCaprio (who will definitely get a nomination) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (who will definitely get a nomination). I think that the "Dallas Buyers Club" actors were already "recognized" at The Golden Globes because The Academy is going to award the
Oscars to the actors of "12 Years A Slave." Leo and Chi are the frontrunners for Best Actor and The Academy wouldn't be caught
dead giving an OSCAR to Matthew McConaughey over them.
