I think the exact same thing. I don't like Gaga's current crap on LM.com and feeling sorry for herself, but I still love what she's done and look forward to new stuff from her.

No but apparently Interscope liked Applause best and picked it. But then Gaga said on Twitter following the DWUW single change that she has worked hard to be trusted to pick her singles.

So basically, Poker Face (Acoustic Remix Feat. PSY and Mary J. Blige) was the intended first ARTPOP single

not at all, that's why I'm still here for her bc I know the potential she has. I'm just upset that she's not tapping into that potential bc of some complex she's got where she feels her work needs to be saturated in art to be worth something, when TF/M were art all by themselves without her trying and fighting so hard

So much truth. I think that the whole issue that's created the current mess is that deep down Gaga didn't have a firm concept for the album after Born This Way.
