I didn't think Shakira's new song to be a huge hit because she's a non factor outside of Spanish Speaking countries. She's had a few hits but none of her more recent efforts have been a hit in the US because she was more of a sensation than an act who was able to actually break into the US. Rihanna will help her somewhat abroad but I never expected her song to do that great.
It may be too early to tell as the song could rebound and actually have some longevity later on.
P!nk is the GP Queen. I mean that. I don't think anyone hates her and if she releases a good song, people will buy it.
The only people who "hate" her are bitter homosexuals who are upset she has ZERO appeal to the Gay community outside of lesbians, and that she's more of a man then they will ever be
I never hear straight guys mention Beyoncè for music but more so that she's an ideal type of woman that you could marry. I hear more straight girls talk about her music than boys but overall her following is pretty gay at least where I am.
