I actually enjoyed MDNA before I even heard of ATRL. I don't get the hate. It was current, stylized, and cohesive. It wasn't orgasmically amazing, but it was not a bad album.
It's very mediocre. The only songs that OFFEND me are Girl Gone Wild, Turn Up the Radio, Superstar, and I ****ed Up.
The whole story about the dog thing is that her label/management didn't want anything about animals in the SEX book and were basically controlling every aspect of Erotica, which is why she took the dog photo (and many sexual photos with religious imagery, which they also didn't want) after she founded Maverick.

superstar has good production but feels so LAZY
