So far my prediction was 100% correct. I said that it'll peak 6-10 on itunes and then free fall with radio refusing to play it. And it's a shame because I love this song. At this point, only the video can save the song.

It's literally been 1 day though. Give it awhile.
Diamonds/We Found Love were also "flopping", but look how that turned out.
calm down ! the song is a grower
it will start falling , then it will stabilize and in 1-2 weeks it will start smashing....
pe patient!this is sooooooo going to slay in the future

Diamonds and WFL reached a higher peak on itunes, and had upcoming promo(which this may not have). Also those two smashed on radio. For radios to barely play this a day after its deal is weird and says something about its future radio play.
they are relying to much on the big names, but that's not going to help a song that needs a few listens before you like it.. THEY. NEED. TO. PROMOTE!
And by 'they' i mean Shakira AND Rihanna
WFL (and I believe Diamonds) stabilized in the top 10 despite their failure to initially hit #1. But the comment about them having promo in the beginning, what promo? I'm pretty sure WFL had X Factor and Diamonds had SNL, both nearly 2 months after the release.
Keep in mind this is Shakira's single. Her last top 10 hit in the U.S. was in '08. Give it time to grow, it was JUST released yesterday. Rihanna's inclusion on the track is what got it to the top 10. Now it's up to radio, the music video, and a live performance to do the rest.
The announcement for CRTFY was via twitter reply by Rih (not even Shakira) and a week before the official release.
The history was different with WFL. Team Rih made an app on fb and a lot of promo before the official release.
I don't remember all this promo before WFL came out. I remember the unlocking thing, but that was mainly for fans. Other than that I just remember we found out it was produced by Calvin Harris...that was like it.
As long as radio picks this up it'll be fine. That's the most important thing really.

yep this precisely. radio radio radio. we need them to support the song and it doesnt look they will
It will pick up eventually, no worries. Rihanna's songs are slow burners, and this is also Shakira's single, not Rihanna's. The inital peaking will be lower of course.
