W/ Britney it was always a big deal because she started out with that pedo/virginal image BS.
That has always seemed SO disturbing to me. Or at least super gross. She was doing all these super sexy videos and photo shoots, yet at the same time her virginity was of the utmost importance. The whole thing is creepy.
Gaga's career seems kind of like Britney's to me. Meteoric rise, gradual but not slow decline. She'll likely have some level of relevance for a long time, just never where she was in 2010 again.

Or her, too. But despite not really having mainstream chart importance closing in on 30 years, people are still very aware of her and her short-lived impact in the '80s. As long as she is not considered a Debbie Gibson or Jody Watley...
ATRL introduced me to Jody, but when I showed my boss Solange's Loosing You vid, she said that the song and the video reminded her of Jody.
@Nippy that's why I think Gaga will have a longer career due to her future ventures, but at a lower level. She's not going to come out with a "Womanizer" or "3", but I think she'll still be around making music for decades.

Gaga wants to be on top, but she wants to be on top on her terms. I have no problem with that, but it requires execution that I don't know if Gaga can pull off if she continues down this 'positivity only do not critic me' road.

Monsters ARE deluded, I mean again... like i've said to you numerous times, you stan for G.U.Y, what a MESS of a song, much more messy then most of gagas other songs. I mean Born This Way was awful, not talking about the song, talking about the whole album. and ARTPOP, ARTFLOP, thats all I really have to say about that.
Only the gays and some old folk think otherwise.
