If you love the song, awesome, that's great, listen to it. But I'm allowed to dislike it and I'm not afraid to say that I do.
The song isn't even terrible. Rihanna's parts are nice. It's just pretty lacklustre, and the chorus is just plain bad.
also #11 on itunes already is really good, it's had no promo or even a banner and shakira hasn't really had a us hit in like 5 years, and even that one wasn't HUGE
like the average person buying this single was in 6th grade last time shakira was huge, y'all do way too damn much

LOL I was one of the few people who loved Applause from the first listen, and I don't even care that it didn't hit #1. It's one of the best tracks on ARTPOP.
But again this isn't about Applause, it's about Can't Remember To Forget You. Please stay on topic.

The "subtle" shade is anything but subtle. Looks like you tried very hard to make it subtle but unfortunately you made it so light that it was actually transparent. You tried though.
