Wow, slay a bit EXO.
As other people have said, I'm not expecting anything to happen in terms of huge US success but it's nice they're being recognised.
Gummy finally getting the recognition she deserves **** YG
I am over these Sistar rip offs but that isn't the groups faults but more falls on the producers.

When DreamT hires Double Sidekick to put together a Girl's Day promo, or when FNC signs up Brave Sound to put together an AOA promo, there is clearly something they have in mind.
SNSD flopped because the english single was already an existing song and was not handled seriously.
SNSD could have a shot if they made an album like their second japanese album with bops like Animal.
I think it's funny when some people say GG flopped, someone link me to their debut English album.
I think the issue with AOA is that FNC doesn't know how to promote them with the band / dance unit. The band unit was different because in the mainstream k-pop scene there aren't groups like them but the dance unit is being more and more generic and FNC are promoting the dance unit more and I don't understand why because they can see the success of CNBlue & F.T.Island. And they will debut in Japan this year...

Oh that's right, they haven't recorded one yet.
But will they even record one tho? Tiffany said a while ago that they were gonna record their english album, but no news has been heard and they've been dropped off Interscope's website.
2NE1 Address Lengthy Album Delay: "We Focus on Each & Every Song"
Quote:
Korean girl group 2NE1 is one of the driving forces in K-pop's international expansion: The quartet was the first Korean female group to stage a world tour; will.i.am snagged them for his #willpower LP, which also boasted guest spots from Britney Spears, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus; plus, the girls have 5.8 million Facebook 'likes' and 1.9 million YouTube subscribers.
With such accolades, it's a wonder why the phenom has only dropped one full-length album in the five years since their 2009 debut single. Fuse News was in South Korea as part of our ongoing FUSE LOVES SEOUL: From K-Pop to Hip Hop week, where the girls told us they opt for quality over quantity.
"One of the reasons is we want to focus on each and every song," explains the group's leader CL, who dropped a blazing, hip-hop solo single in May. "We want every song to have a video, have a concept and have a message and have the right performance style."
The girls dropped three singles last year—"Falling in Love," "Do You Love Me?" and "Missing You," earning a combined 35 million YouTube views—further upping the hype for the record. "To me, an album is like a footprint," CL adds. "It's legacy."
Watch the full 2NE1 interview, including more album info and who's been writing music in English, on tonight's Fuse News at 7:30/6:30c. Don't forget to head back here after the show for the full interview.
