It has nothing to do with her losing streak. It has everything to do with her ranking #3 to dead last in her two nominated categories. Lorde is taking SOTY, and JT or Lorde is taking Pop Solo. Let's face it: Katy gets nominated because she's so successful, but she is never ever #1 in the race... ever. So, she's never robbed.
