This album has been steadily selling 15K. With another PROPER single, she can hope for 750K WW.

Japan is helping her a lot actually and it will be steady for a long time (tour...), US will drop fast from the chart (for 4-5 weeks and it will be out) and maybe will be back on chart with new single, by end of this year I want 700k+ WW

Not to mention it will take forever for them to execute Cher Lloyd's new flop.
Hell even the "it" rapper Future can't get his album out. Sean Kingston failed to sell 2K with his new album, The Fray are flopping, Sade is on break, Andre refuses to release anything & the rest of the roster are non-factors.
I can't at Xtina saving the flop label with her feature on Say Something.

Sean sold less than 2k?
Anyway, i found that Stars Dance sold 700k album worldwides . It's sad to see someone like Selena could outsell Avril that easily.

We need to start a petition to delete Epic from the industry. **** would get more signatures than Ke$ha / Luke in 2 days.

She should focus on working more on the lyrics and learning new chords.
I still remember when I saw a picture of her in a Clinton event, she looked so good and focused...then she released WTH. (which I kinda like, but it wasnt the right song for a comeback or just any carreer in general)

"Nothing but her"? That's too much to say, don't you think? I'm not saying she's completely innocent, but she had two visions for two albums and her label forced her to change it both times. Epic wasn't, seemingly, as bad as RCA was, but she went back to studio to make "hit material" after the album was done.
And about "working more on lyrics and new chords", I don't think it's something extremely important. Personally, I'd like songs that sound genuine and meaningful, no matter if they aren't extremely elaborated and such. For instance, Let Go seem to have the "best lyrics yet", but some songs of the album don't sound very "Avrilish" and genuine. GL is very stripped down, doesn't have the most elaborated lyrics or chords, but it's VERY personal album, and that's why it's my second favourite after UMS (which is personal as well).
I agree with the WTH thing, though. After recovering from the divorce, she looked so focused on being a mature, serious artist, but she came up with that bratty, stupid song. Girlfriend 2.0 indeed, but being a worse song and not being as successful (thankfully!).
I still can't believe some fans are going to do that #RNRweek thing, it's wrong in so many ways

But thats all speculation, we dont know what she was actully planned to release.
And how can you not deman her to write better after this album first single? Seriously.
For the rest, hi5.

Well, for GL, she clearly wanted a stripped-down, acoustic-driven album, and then Max Martin and WTH came up and the album was pushed back almost a complete year. As for AL, in October '12, she stated the album was done, and even L.A. Reid "confirmed" it, saying they were mixing/mastering and that it would be released at the end of 2012 or "top of 2013". But what came at the "top of 2013" was her collaboration with "hitmakers" J-Kash, Martin Johson and co. Quite similar if you ask me; the only real difference is that she "seemed" more into it, probably because L.A. Reid nicely convinced her. But hey, I might be wrong and she wanted to write songs like HNTGU or RnR from the start, but I have my doubts.
I never said I liked HTNGU, or RnR ones, or defended her for releasing songs with those lyrics. But I never demanded her to write elaborated, poetic lyrics, but meaningful, more mature ones. For instance, most of her GL lyrics are rather simple, but they are meaningful, personal, even touching. Also, Falling Fast, a self-written song, is among that kind of songs/lyrics, although the "sea of lighters" part is more elaborated than we're accustomed to.

She must release something she likes for the 4th single, not like she did with RNR. She's so bored when she sings that song.
Well IF she releases something it shouldn't be BS or SOS. BS is one of my favourites, but the boring live performances with that song would suck too.
She stated that she loves: 17, Give You What You Like, Bad Girl, Hello Kitty, Falling Fast and Hush Hush.
The 3rd single was a ballad, so I don't think she will release another ballad as the 4th single. HH out.
GYWYL is a masterpiece (and one of my biggest favourite track near Hello Heartache), but a little bit boring and it hasn't got a powerful bridge or something, I don't think it would smash. GYWYL out.
Bad Girl and Hello Kitty... I think it's too risky for them to release both. Really edgy songs. BG & HK out.
17 & Falling Fast back. However Falling Fast is my 3rd favourite on the album, I think it isn't really a single potential. FF out.
I am not really glad, because it isn't a really great song IMO, but clearly she loves 17. The production is crappy and she'll always mess up wit the lyrics, but 17 would be great as the 4th single.
Haters gonna hate.

RNR Week is a mess Not even LMG Week, for her current single...
And the fact Avril and her team are promoting it on her Twitter
