It probably is more in your face here. For some reason I've always thought that black people were paid dust in England, then I started watching EastEnders and the amount of black people as well as non-white people in the cast sort of through me off guard. I'm so used to that one "token" non-white character. This might be just an EastEnders thing, but I was pleasantly surprised.
