I'm gonna to request/suggest that chat threads not be phased out. Chat threads condense a lot of the "mess" that goes on into small areas. Many members spend the majority of their time in chat threads.
How y'all gon close the Black thread right before Black History Month?
On a serious note, the Black Thread isn't a thread where we just troll and act the fool. It's legit like the only place we can go to on this entire forum and discuss subjects associated with our race. We get ignored in PYP, most of the urban music such as Rap & R&B is ignored, and we can actually civilly discuss matters such as racism and sexism without there being a big mess.

Yeah there's no reason the black thread should stay open when the country threads got closed. Living in a different country with a different culture is a lot more specific/thread-worthy than having a certain skin colour
