Well they took a risk with this new album and it's seemed to pay off, so far.
I'd like to see them experiment with more sounds in the future, but whatever they do next will feel quite drastic, I think. If they keep evolving this particular sound, they'll either end up in Mumford territory, or Steel Panther territory, and it will shock a lot of people.
If they went for a new sound altogether, then that again would shock people. Apparently they had started album #4 before MM was even released, so we'll see how that pans out.
