I'm just one of those people though, if someone says something I know is incorrect or ignorant I can't NOT say something. I remember reading down this white boy in my US History class sophomore year when he tried the whole, "why isn't there a white history month?" argument. Right in the middle of the damn class, I didn't care. I didn't get into any trouble until I took it upon myself after the fact to go and print out a list of the ethnic/minority months. I made like 100 copies and stuck them all over the hallway walls in school

I had a chance of seeing Blink and The Offspring last year but chose Metallica instead

I don't think the people that think in that manner understand why it's necessary to even have special minority cultural education. I guess when you've been raised in an environment established around your culture and learning from history books written by and for your own people, it's difficult to see beyond that and understand how the shoe feels on the other foot.

I sure did. I had in school suspension for a few days (vandalism being the reason ), but I was 15/16 at the time and really...spirited. so I thought of it as me "sticking it to the man".

I just hate being in that position where after an argument, I think of something I should've said that would've gotten my point across better, so I just did the first thing I thought would get my point across in a universal way. Not only for him, but people who think/thought like him as well.
