I never understood the whole hype behind Adele. Everyone was like, 'omg she's gimmick free', when in fact the media turned her into a massive gimmick in that she was the anti-Gaga. Even when people said that 'Adele doesn't sell based on her looks because she doesn't look like the other skinny minnies', to me that's one big contradiction.

It was right place right time imo, I don't think 21 is as good as people like to believe.
