yeah but album sales only count for 5% on music bank, digital counts for 65% and IU did better in that category along with broadcast points (10%) and viewer preference (20%). i don't know how many albums he sold this week but i'm pretty sure it wasn't some crazy amount to guarantee his wins like this then again he is with cube now who's known for buying awards
either way it's only january and they give out like 300 of these awards every year, the rest will have other opportunities!

Coincidentally, Akdong Musician is to meet fans in the middle of February, too. They are to perform on the stage of SBS “K-Pop Star 3” in February.
