I always used to go to class and say that I need to look for my glasses, I had dropped them on the field. Now I wear contacts so I can't do that

Would any mod be able to give me feedback when it's over? From what I've read over the past few hours it don't think I've made it because:
-I joined in August 2013.
-I don't have a huge post count.
-I wasn't very personal in my application.
-My application wasn't particularly long.

Could someone just confirm if any of my points are correct and put me out of my misery.

I'm not going to give up though, maybe I'll be picked later on or I'll learn from my mistakes for the next time we do this
