I work at an Olive Garden in Northern Cali, and ohhhh my goodness, the things we say about our guests!
-If you get soup & salad, and tip $1.. we will hate you. We only make minimum wage, and if you run us around like a slave, while other tables do the same for just a damn dollar... you best believe you'll be getting below acceptable service.
-Don't ask me for a water with hella lemons.. we know your gonna make a 'ghetto lemonade'. And I will proceed to send all my server friends to laugh at you.
-If you complain about every little detail of your meal and expect the manager to compensate it all.. good luck. 90% of the time, the manager will laugh at you & comp it just because we have the money to do so.
Btw, we do make damn near everything fresh
You're welcome.

Read this all
Some of you should be ASHAMED. Especially that nurse. That is despicable. And spitting in food? Are you 12 years old? Act like an adult and do your job.
Ghetto lemonade is my new favorite thing

I work at a hospital as a nurse assistant, most nurse assistants don't do ****, you'll ask them if they can get you a cup of water, they go and text on there phone, blah blah blah.. then they come back and say they ran out of said drink. Some nurse assistants neglect the patients, as in if the baby or elderly patient is wet or soiled, it might be hours til the patient is changed. I work the night shift and we check all the patients every 2hrs, in the day time they'll go maybe 6hrs or so before anyone gets changed. It's terrible. At a nursing home I worked at an elderly patient asked for food, the nurse assistant went to the office, ate the food in the fridge then goes back and tells the patient they ran out of food. This is stuff I see tbh. And i'm sure it happens at most hospitals. And the nurses and nurse assistants get hold of your records, know about your early life, what your conditions are and honestly laugh and talk **** about the patients. =/

Y'all can post your weird pictures but honestly it's true. There is plenty of evidence to support this claim

For example: A worker from a chinese takeout place that's close to my home put a PUBIC hair in the rice that I ordered and I saw it at the bottom of the meal when I was almost done
I finished that meal though because I almost finished the entire thing by then so I was already eating those pubic hair particles and I was not wasting those $2 and 10 cents left of food.

Of course you are getting a pubic hair in your food, nnnnn.
cheap heaux, save more coins and buy yourself some nice quality food.

They must be that poor and desperate if they steal money like that.

Also, don't even bother asking for us to check for a size in the back. Sure we'll go back there, but we won't actually look, and we'll tell you we don't have it.
I've also been told to follow black and Hispanic customers around the store because they look suspicious.
A lot of the customers are nuts though and all of us have gotten into fights with them at least once. The soccer moms are the worst and there have been times where they would get into fights with one of the female models and try to jump over the counter and hit them.
And if you lose money in the store, ITS MINE. I found $300 in the fitting room last year. A customer called asking me to look for it but I told him it wasn't there.

The following is 100% true:
So I've been reading this thread carefully and when I go to the store now I'm SUPER friendly to the cashiers.
I went to Winn-Dixie earlier today and was really affable with the cashier. When she asked me how I was I asked her in return how she was, etc. Well she asked me if I had a rewards card, naturally I said no, she rang up my **** and I left. I thought my bill was rather low so when I looked at the receipt later I saw that bitch actually gave me the rewards discount even though I said I didn't have the card.
Being really friendly does save me money.

Like are you really that poor and ill-mannered that you need to steal someone else's money? Some of you people are literally disgusting

I just read all 38 pages, and some of you are as messy as it gets.
That said, I've worked in fast food for 3 years, so I know exactly what it's like dealing with the public, so every time I go out, I always make sure to be nice and friendly. You'll never guess the difference it makes if you say "May I please have a___" Instead of "Give me a ___"
To all of you who are 'cool' for spitting in food, or just being disrespectful at your job, there is a common saying "kill them with kindness" It works, and you can't get in trouble for it. Don't know why half of you bother working if you don't like it that much. I'm sure when you were hired you were asked if you could be respectful and helpful at your job, which some of you seem to be failing at.

The food service thing is so true, especially at college eateries
Whenever I order something I have a polite tone and use may I, please, thank you, with a smile and everything. I don't even hold conversations with the workers, but they are really nice in return and smile whenever they see me. They also sometimes give me extra of something I order. Kindness truly does go a long way.
And I went to Panera last week and the guy was being really nice. Well....I think he was actually just flirting with me because he saw my Disney World shirt and used that as a way to spark a convo

You still haven't told me how you're going to go about doing basic functions like cleaning the plates and where you would be storing these leftover scraps so that they can even last beyond a day if you think this is how an eatery functions? And I don't serve honey, do you think those are the only jobs there are in restaurants? Yet more proof you have zero idea what the **** you're talking about. I doubt you'll ever come into any restaurant I've ever worked at because it doesn't sound like you can afford to eat in places that don't give you diarrhea. Just give up already, you've already made enough of a fool of yourself without defending this stupid story.

Target has facial recognition in the security cameras, so like we know when certain people come in that we know are shoplifters, and it gives you coupons based on what you've bought in the past when you use the same card often. Exciting, right?
|
I knew cameras were way more sneakier than people make them out to be. I'm sure banks have this too.
