The scene in The Silence of the Lambs where the killer has a fake cast on his arm and pretends like he's struggling to push the couch into the truck and asks the girl for help and then abducts her...that's scary. Especially knowing it was based on a real-life incident. Be wary of strange men who act like they're injured and need your help! It's a serial killer trick!

I'm the exact opposite. Serial killers and gore doesn't scare me at all. Not here for those "Saw"
films. The only serial killer type of movie that got to me was "Scream." I recoil more to
supernatural type of horror, especially exorcism-type movies. "The Conjuring"
was the best horror movie of 2013, followed by "Evil Dead."

Though, I've heard good things about "You're Next."
I'll be watching that this weekend.

There were some funny moments like when she's freaking out over a strand of her hair being brushed, but the moments after they're in bed and it's dead silence... No ma'am.

Not The Strangers! When you first see the guy emerge from the hallway... No ma'am [2].

The sneak up on you + suspense movies are the worst. Oldest trick in the book but so effective & tension building
