She is becoming a singles artist, and a bad one.


TBDT's production is solid for a pop record, as is UMS but her last two albums have been so bad.

Why can't she just find new producers and release right away, and not have us wait 2-3 years.

My bet is still on Greg Kurstin. They need to do a whole album together. He's magic. (Maybe too deep a lyricist for Av tho )

You're so right. TBDT was Avril's best album, nice lyrics in every song, some standouts, amazing powuerfull vocals, catchy songs that are NOT FORCED and the album was so natural and fluent. It was her most organic record and everything fell into place. GL and AL came of as try hards. GL was her trying to be Alanis and AL was Avril trying to be who she once was. AL is still one of the best pop records of 2013 tho.

Yes Greg Kurstin would be awesome producer for album #6

and maybe if she could work with Rick Ruben too....

Oh and Rob Cavallo again.

Maybe an exception for Butch (but he's kind of a douchebag)

I think Max is a decent producer, but it would only work if Avril WANTED to work with him and not being 'forced' by the record label.

Huh? He only exposed Dr. Luke's thievery ways IIRC. He mentioned Avril but he didn't say anything bad about her directly, did he?

Oh well he only slammed Dr. Luke in his book but I seem to remember something about how Avril's contribution to My Happy Ending was minimal and how she stole his look in the Let Go era. However those were rumors and there aren't any receipts that I know of.

Yes, those YEAAAAH YEAAAH YEAAAAHSS elevate the song to an epic level. Besides it's the most TBDT era like song and it reminds me of Runaway which is one of my faves.

Epic put LMG, SOS and GYWYL on Hit Predictor for reviewing. LMG was released as single so the next single is either SOS or GYWYL.
