I mean I could understand people being pressed if it were Rihanna selling tickets for expensive prices since all she does is stand there fingering herself as if she's just snorted cocaine, but Katy actually puts on good shows and sings decent-well live. Anything from $50-$150 is justifiable for her.

I went to the California Dreams Tour in 2011 and it cost me £28.50 for a ticket. I recently bought tickets for this tour and they were £55.50. Almost a £30 increase! Mind you, her popularity soared after Teenage Dream. I can't say I'm surprised.

Same. The tickets for this tour were morr than double (160%?) the price I paid for the California Dreams Tour.

She's only a tiny proportion cheaper than her peers tickets. Nothing significant to boast about though.

I'd imagine her production costs were cheaper than her peers, too.
