I'm happy that finally some of Gaga peers are doing some catching up on her slayage. It must be hard for them to still see Gaga have the best receipts on sales, awards & tours.
Goodnight!

Rihanna obviously has an insane amount of hits but she also flops every so often. Katy's only "flopped" 2/14 times....

She makes songs for the radio. There's no excuse for her to flop. Majority of Rihanna's flops were urban songs not for pop radio. I think Rihanna will be ok as long as the hits keep coming for her.

Katy sells so much in the US with her singles that her WW performance doesn't matter because the overall totals are still higher than "global hits". It's like Taylor with albums, and to a lesser extent Bey's latest album.

Hopefully Walking On Air is the 4th single. It gets flack for whatever reason, but it remains the highest charting album track on PRISM.
The 4th single will no doubt be the single on summer radio airwaves.

Katy's been Global her entire career but on a smaller scale than someone like Rihanna. Her success is very US-centric but she's not a nobody outside of it like someone like Janetor.

Perfume is actually an okay song, but Britney's voice really doesn't take it places.
Maybe old Britney would've done it justice.

Pour It Up went to #1 on Urban & went Platinum without the video.
Birthday Cake was #1 on Urban and went Platinum from the damn interlude version alone, as her label wasn't having the CB version.
Cockiness went Gold, despite the fact that Diamonds came out a week after the Cockiness VMA performance.
I'll give you TTT & MD.

rihanna and chris brown both really bring out the best in each other musically tbh. the umbrella remix, birthday cake remix, turn up the music remix, & nobody's business all gave me so much life.
too bad about the incident... (apparently they collabed again for chris's upcoming album tho)

TTT went gold without a video
And MD went gold and that is surprising for a reggae song

PIU was a huge success.
BC was also a a success that left a sizable amount of impact & is definitely referenced.
Cockiness was basically just a random release lol.
MD was successful in other countries outside of the US & was a nice-sized urban hit. CKB was the one out of that dual release that had a disappointing run.
TTT completely flopped for whatever reason.
