Rih's vocals usually don't sound
great on her albums because they're a tad bit rushed... at least that's what I've always assumed. Like why wouldn't they just go back an re-record? I can't tell if it's a mixing problem or Rih herself. On WMN, Fading, Complicated, WFL, Drunk on Love, Roc Me Out, etc. she doesn't sound good to me.
I think part of the problem is Rih singing notes that are too damn high for her range, and the fact that they like to mix her voice with other people. Ester's background vocals especially make me cringe
