If Lady Gaga put out good music, she'd sell more. The logic is very simple. Her fans (and even
Gaga herself) like to go on this tirade of excuses as to why "ARTPOP" is failing, but the
simple answer is that the music isn't good and she didn't have the hype of a
successful era to carry the bad music like she did with "Born This Way."
At the very least, "Applause" sounds a little bit more
original than "Born This Way." So we appreciate that much.
