I'm talking about well received by the public, I don't care about critics. I never have I won't start caring just because ATRL makes a big deal out of them.
THE PUBLIC buys Katy's songs, so it's safe to assume they are well received. You and I did decently well especially considering where Gaga was in her career at that point, but that's it. The Edge of Glory may not exactly be dance but it's no way a ballad (which is what I said Gaga is bad at) and it's definitely upbeat.
More or less the same.
People like to call Katy a One trick pony but really that person is Gaga.
