Like I was saying in the airplay thread.
Sales should be the most important factor, but because the Hot 100 has so many different criteria now, and some unfairly weighted, a song that isn't even the most popular can be #1 on the Hot 100.
Timber has been above The Monster in sales and streams but because radio is overplaying The Monster constantly, timber is stuck at #2 on the Hot 100 despite obviously being the more popular song.
The Monster has sold 2.4 million WITH Christmas sales, a MV, **** load of airplay, and it's already dropping.
It doesn't really deserve all these weeks at #1 it's getting.
And Kesha is not my fav so let's not even try that with me. I just think the song is undeserving
