It's simple a rule of 3: Being 1391 the 100% of last week, we use it to determinate how much % you gained this week. The 1609 is this weeks with the gain, so we do the rule of three:
(1609x100)/1391 = 115.67 = 116%-100= 16% of gain (which is in reality a 15.67% of gain).
