The standard was 7.99 and ARTPOP was not discounted the week of Xmas but rather the next week where it was 6.99 Mon-Sun. The standard PRISM and Bangerz albums were both 7.99 the week before Xmas and during. They also had at least two whole other weeks (one during the AMAs and another I'm sure) where the standards were 7.99, too.

It doesn't really matter but I'm sick of kats acting like Katy never discounts when PRISM has been 7.99 for half of it's chart run and ARTPOP only got a discount for the week after Xmas. Yeah ARTPOP was discounted on other peripheral retailers like Google but those sellers account for like 5% of overall album sales.

She managed to do GREAT numbers in january though without any performances. If i remember correctly you were projecting her to do around 70-90k this week right?

So regardless of position on the BB 200, we can all agree she's shattering expectations and selling ****ingly awesome each week.
