Yes, charts. And the critics are loving the showstopping moment where the song is played in the movie. "Young and Beautiful" is cute, but nothing more than that. There's a reason why GG paid it dust and it wasn't because some behind-the-door vendetta.

In what universe is "Let It Go" charting better than Y&B? Do tell.

And Y&B is also critically acclaimed.

You know damn well GG is all about image and stars. Lana ha image is not good for them. I mean they nominated the "The Tourist" only because of Angie and Jonny Depp despite the film being crap. Oscar is a different matter.

If Let It Go wins, it will break Disney drought of Oscar since the 90s. that's good I guess.

The voters will hear Idina's version because it's the version in the film sequence that they'll see. It doesn't really matter which version they hear, though, since the Oscar goes to the songwriters and not the performer(s).

I just listened to both in full for the first time.

The sequence in "Let It Go" was great and the song fit, but the song kind of reminds me of a lesser, basic, snow-themed Firework? It does sound like it'd be on the radio. Maybe I'm missing something ground-breaking contextually because I haven't seen the movie. But, as a stand-alone song it's just meh.

Young and Beautiful was fabulous and, like, I don't even listen to Lana Del Rey. This song was better and is far more deserving of Best Song in my opinion. I'm slayed, actually.
