Child no. Beyoncé and Rihanna are in different lanes and Rihanna will obviously try something more different with Shakira.

Her peak vocally was IASF & IAWT vocally, so far.
Her voice is darkening, which is only natural as she's now in her t30's.
I don't think she'll reach her true vocal peak until she's like 35.
The only thing I didn't like about 4 is the rasps on some songs.
Like girl you have this naturally beautiful bright and crisp tone.
Don't go messing it up trying to be Raspy Rhonda.
The growling is natural and free, which you can tell how she belts.
But it seems like she's adding an unnecessary rasp to her voice since 4.
Not too much on this album besides No Angel and that wonky XO note, which is better than all over 4.
TBE, her voice was powerful and strong, but it's nowhere near the Bey we've witness 2008 and beyond.
Also, her belting has gotten stronger since TBE and more natural.
She's easily able to transition from chest-head-chest-head on C#5, way more than she was back in TBE. (Numerous Ave Maria performances)

and yeah, since 4, she's been doing that "gravelly" voice. She even said it in her documentary but like I totally agree that I prefer her bright, clear tone. But I mean at least she gave us a pretty clear G#5 on tour

Can you imagine if she did "Love on Top" in her more "natural" voice? I wouldn't be able to handle that

I agree. My sister and I were talking about Bey's vocal progress from her DC days until now. My sister is a singer and she Beyoncé voice gets better with age unlike some singers whose voice gets worse as they get older.

I like Bey's voice on Beyoncé the best its a mix of vocals from IASF and 4. It has the deeper tones but without the feeling that shes trying too hard to be raspy and gritty (even though I kinda like the rasp I think it should be reserved for live performances)

That's the thing. She's been growling since DFWT.
She never had rasp live though. Like ever. Even when she was sick, her voice has still always been extra clear.
I don't get where it comes from lol.

As of now, her best vocals were during the I Am... Era because on the album, she had so much restraint and clarity to her voice which effortlessly slayed. And then when she took those songs on tour, she tore those songs apart (in the best way).

idk if you or anyone has seen this but it's one of my favorite Bey Vocal Vids on YouTube.

It's a compilation of all her best belts and runs from the "I Am...World Tour"
This person is so devout, he/she literally has every single clip of slayage on that tour (which is a lot). I think this is when her rasp started because I hear it between clips and stuff.

BUT
I do remember this interview or something where she mentions that she realized that she sings a lot different when she's on tour and that she's trying to bring that into the studio as well. I think it was a reference to Sasha Fierce, idk
