I really don't think the GP cares what Directioners think - they are barely one step above Beliebers in the GP's mind. The backlash came from Taylor having such a high profile romance so soon after Conor (which was a relationship that had already gotten her some bad press because of the fact that he was in high school and the wedding debacle) and the way she acted afterwards, seeming to publicly shade Harry all the time. Replace Harry with any other young famous guy and the reaction would have been the same.

If anyone can do it, it is Taylor Swift. I know some people are doubting it. But as I've said before. Her fan base is still growing and she has quite a bit more fans since when RED came out. I am only assuming this based on twitter and Facebook following. But, the fact is that I believe the fan base is so strong that when the album comes, there will be so much anticipation for it that there will be a frenzy to buy it. Don't quote me, I am just assuming. You don't hear much about Taylor lately, but that just might be getting the anticipation factor built up. I think , she'll do it.

I don't think there is a backlash from the GP. Much of the backlash was created by 1D fans who with their jealousy wanted to raise some sh*t. Most people, I think can see this as just that.

Yes, the GP might be influenced because they hear stories in the media, but, they are smart enough, I think, to know the difference between what is real and what is Sh*t!
