This thread is informative and also a mess. I don't have any secrets from my one and only job. The only secrets I have pertain to my school and I'm confident none of you go to my school. But I'll share:
- Teachers drag students so hard in the teachers lounge and they drag other teachers too
- Most teachers grade papers based on how well they like you
- Some teachers make older students (like me) grade, and those older students grade based on how they feel that day
Here they can, the guy that does it just has to be certified. They would even have us follow people around that looked suspicious, essentially we would annoy them out of the store.
In Spain the Government just passed a law that allows private security to stop you in the streets

I work at a grocery store; there's not much I could tell you all. But just like everyone else is saying, employees DO talk about customers. Some of the conversations we have are ridiculous.
I've done some messy things in the past as a server,
but I'm a firm believer in karma/"what goes around comes back around" now,
so I try to be a complete saint.
Well, don't know if they're really secrets, but when I worked at fruit & vegetable section of a supermarket nobody washed their hand before they started working, and when food fell on the ground we would just put it back.
If there like a bag of special apples or potatoes or something that's more expensive and it's torn, we just put them with the regular pieces
We'd also talk about you behind your back if you're mean or tell about the things you said
Also I can't believe how many of you are childish towards customers. Imagine you go to the doctor and you don't treat him well and he gives you the wrong diagnosis. If you continue thinking that way you'll never leave that type of jobs

Back in high school, my civics teacher had referred to the physical chemistry teacher whom I had TA'd for as "Humpty Dumpty"...he had asked who we were talking about, we proceeded to describe her, and then he responded with "Oh, you're talking about Humpty Dumpty." This was a few minutes after he had screamed "F***" since we had lost the internet in the classroom.

Exactly. How a customer treats an employee is their karma, and how the employee reacts is their's
We know the difference between an irate patient because of discomfort and just a plain rude patient.
How? Because you've been in their position? I don't see you lying in that hospital bed begging for relief, bitch. You don't know jack sh*t about what a patient is going through and reading about it in a textbook isn't going to change that.
