I never get the post count shade. Like I previously stated, it's winter break and it's literally illegal to drive on the roads today in many parts of the country or else you'll get a ticket because there's a road ban. With a blizzard in half the country, I don't know what you people expect people to be doing besides staying inside and being online.
I wouldn't worry about it. You shouldn't have to defend your activity on here to anyone

About the post count, some people do post a lot even if they have so much free time. From my perspective, it's more about being shocked at how many posts some of these new members have than shady.
