Kroger Secrets:

Employees are NOT supposed to get free samples while on the job.
Employees CANNOT lend customers their plus card.(It has a discount on it and is a fireable offense)
We KNOW what you say on those surveys they have you do
You can Exchange other stores' house brand products (I.e. Walmart brand Milk) at the service desk if you tell them you dislike that product and prefer Kroger brand
After a certain hour, if someone under 27 gets an alcoholic beverage/tobacco product the person standing behind them in line ALSO has to get ID'ed

The baristas at Starbucks are some of the biggest trolls I know. When fat customers come in they will make their drink Non-fat with sugar free syrup. For skinny customers, they purposely use whole milk and fattening syrup.

Same.We just go into the computer and defect it then throw it in the bin to send back to the Receiving department that handles all the trash.

Also, my company returns literally everything even if you don't have a receipt, you'll get a store credit for it. When a guest is acting a rude I'll scan the item and tell them the item isn't showing up in the system so I can't return it even though it's our brand product.

Yep, 2 of my moms friends got fired for that.

1 at self-scan and 1 at the gas station.

It's stupid though, cause they literally have a store card that can be scanned.

People just be trying to get those gas points...

My hiring manager told me how her sister used to write rubber checks on her plus card.

They can track that.

At my store we just give them the card and tell them to fill out the App or tell them to enter their phone number

Same you don't need a receipt for anything. Even when the computer asks yes or no and then you hit no it let's you do if anyway.

and coupons. I'm not even going to start on coupons.

Well it doesn't really work like that, one of them lives with us 6 days a week and the other is our cook who comes 4 times a week, they're like part of the family and we treat them super well but still

Employees aren't allowed to buy anything off the floor while on the job, and if they do, they HAVE to buy it from Uscan or have a person check them out

No, Just people with an excessive amount of coupons annoy me.

And you know what, it's not even the AMOUNT of coupons someone has, It's that fact that they want you to go REALLY slow and scan each coupon one-by-one to make sure you "got every one" and that it is "taking off the right amount"

Like no, Could you please let me do my job, once I give you the receipt you can check over it, and if something is wrong WE CAN FIX IT. But don't make me hold up my growing line because you want 25% all your t-shirts.
