I've been wanting to say this for a while. The reason why I think Gaga is not connecting with the public is because she became not one of the public anymore. Her background story, how she had to fight in order to become what she is it today inspired her more than what she thinks or feels, IMO. At this point she should just write 'Sorry, we had problems with managment, but the video will premiere ...' Yet she writes some weird letter for radio-artpop kind of fans who will now crucify everyone who doesn't 'understand her message' and get hyped again for some groundbreaking change in the Artpop era which is not coming and this vicious circle will continue. She's too eager to lay blame on the others and makes too much drama out of everything instead of delivering good pop music.

You're right, she seems genuinely apologetic about this whole thing. I just hope that this "slap to her face" was enough to put her back into the right direction. I really want to see her succeed and prove everyone wrong. I hope this was enough.
