GEORGE G TEAMS UP WITH ST. JUDE'S HOSPITAL FOR CAMPAIGN
"I remember my mom told me a long time ago that St. Jude's Children Hospital was created by a Lebanese comedian," George G started to speak. "So I always told myself if I ever pursued a career in music then I'd definitely want to partner up with them."
George G has partnered up with St. Jude's Children Hospital and will start a campaign very soon to help the organization generate more money.
"We're currently working on putting together a little mini-tour for the cause. I love to perform, and although I still need a lot of work it's something I love to do and going out for a week or two is no problem for my schedule."
The artist also revealed that he will be working on a new track. "There's a track that I'm absolutely obsessed with right now and it just so happens that the song was done for St. Jude's. We're in the process of getting the celebrity to re-record the song with me for a little re-mix and re-release it. Hopefully it'll gain a lot more exposure than it did before."
"Overall I'm just so excited to see what we're going to do and I hope that I can bring in a lot of money!"
CAPITAL FM INTERVIEW
Azealia Banks stopped by Capital FM for an interview about her new single 'VENUS' and brand new album 'Mermaid's Fantasea' which dropped today. You can pick it up on iTunes or in stores now.
Your album dropped out of nowhere? Why didn't you release a single like a regular campaign?
Because I hate making my fans wait. I made them wait for BWET which never came so I was like **** this, let me leave Interscope. I then got ahold of all my other songs and put them in an album.
VENUS is really good. We've been playing it non stop today.
That's sick. I love that you guys are supporting the song.
What other songs do you feel like could be potential singles on the album?
Esta Noche, Hoodtress, Miss Banks, Pink Cocaine, and definitely Givenchy Love. All those need to be singles but we'll see what happens.
Tell us why you called the album 'Memaid's Fantasea'
Im obsessed with mermaids. I feel like I'm a mermaid and this album was basically a fantasy in my head so you can put it together,
Here's VENUS off 'Mermaid's Fantasea'! After we'll be playing three more songs from the album
Although George G has begun to breakout as an artist himself, he has been most famous from producing many tracks and co-writing with many superstars. The last product he produced was Miley Cyrus's 2013 album 'My Truth'. He continues to write and produce his own music, but he decided to do something a little bit for fun. Internet sensation Sharkeisha has taken the globe by storm, and superstar Lady Gaga has released fresh music from last year. So George decided to take Lady Gaga's "Venus" and remix it with some snippets from the viral Sharkeisha video. So far the remix has gotten some buzz on Twitter and pop music forum ATRL. Hopefully the track on Soundcloud will break through. It has also been confirmed that George G will remix more songs with the Sharkeisha video.

Alexandra Burke won the X-Factor UK in 2008 and went from big highs, to huge lows from then. But first, let's go back in time a little.
Alexandra Imelda Cecelia Ewen Burke started her singing career at a very young age, when she entered "Star For A Night", a singing competition for young children, where she ended in second place, behind Joss Stone. She was approached by Elton John, who wanted to sign her to his label, but her mum wanted Alex to stay in school.
When she was 17 Alexandra auditioned for The X-Factor UK, where she made it to Judge Houses but was dropped from Louis Walsh' final 3. Alex was devastated, but came back stronger in 2008 when she auditioned for The X-Factor again, which she eventually won. Her performance of Listen with Beyoncé went down in history as the best X-Factor duet EVER
Her winning single Hallelujah became the fastest selling single in Europe, shifting 105k in 1 day and nearly 600k in it's first week and remains the biggest selling X-Factor single ever in the UK with 1.25 million units sold so far. It also became the biggest selling single of 2008 with only 2 weeks on sale.
After winning the X-Factor Alexandra worked on her debut album Overcome, which went to #1 and sold over 600k in total.
The album spawned 5 top 10 singles, from which 3 went to #1, Bad Boys, Start Without You and Hallelujah.
Alexandra then went on to release her 2nd studio album called Heartbreak On Hold in June 2012, however it flopped and failed to sell more than 20k. SHe also released an EP #NewRules and a free Christmas EP with original Christmas song "Christmas Time" and a cover of "Silent Night"
But Alexandra is back and ready to show the US what she's got with a new sound and a brand new label behind her! Get ready to be blown away by this dancing vocal powerhouse.
Alexandra's debut single will premiere on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" tomorrow
