It's not too late, it's the perfect moment (well it was one month ago but

In the US, it is close to top10 on radio (and the freeze just ended), close to top10 on digital sales. Only needs a big streaming points increase and the video effect on iTunes to go top10 on the Hot 100 before all the new hits take over.
In the rest of the world, the remix is doing very well and it is top10 (or close) combined in a lot of countries, so the video would give it the push it needs.
