Lol funny thread. It is quite redundant to defend Beyonce against Xtina on the topic of who's mnore iconic. I cant even remember the last time Xtina's name was brought up in a convo about pop music irl. It's cute that u think that she's in any way more iconic than Beyonce being a tv judge on some american reality show meanwhile Beyonce headliningin superbowl halftime, snagging top 5 on forbes, breaking a dozen records with her unconventional album release, having the biggest grossing female tour of the year (and top 10 of all time in terms of female tours) but yeah Xtina is more "iconic". Yall need to send the media outlets a memo then cus the praise and attention has been heaped on Bey in the past year instead of the now trimmer iconic one

No she is not as iconic as either of them, in the past even when she was in her prime she was constantly out shadowed by Britney and in the present every Pop Star is being out shadowed by Beyonce. In my opinion the only Iconic moment(s) Xtina has had were the 'Back to Basics' album and maybe 'Beautiful'. Other than that she has nothing.

Gurl you stay contracting yourself. There's a difference in performing for Super Bowl related concert and actually Headlining a Super bowl half-time show, which Xtina has NEVER done. LOL @ singing for presidents, plenty of artists have sung for presidents @ the white house, We are talking about the Presentational inauguration ceremony. Yeah, wave that white flag and go take a nap, it's not going to change the fact she's not as iconic as the other ladies.

I would say she's as iconic as Beyonce currently, but definitely not as iconic as Britney. Britney has BOMT, OIDIA, Slave, and Toxic under her belt, Beyonce has CIL and SL, and Xtina has Beautiful.

Oh Whitney Houston and fellow vocal Goddesses Mariah Carey, Barabra Streisand, Tina Turner & Patti Label have all praised Bey' singing. So vocal talent praises aren't exclusive to Xtina. the only difference between Britney and the other bubblegum pop artists of the late 90s/ early 00s is the fact that she was a solo act. At her peak, she was nothing more than a teenage sensation, when she lost that appeal, she fell.

Yea she's so globally known that people dont even bother to buy her albums, she cant even headline a world tour in the past 6 years. She's more global that international corporations would rather invest their endorsements in artists less known than her. She's more globally known that her peaks in ww news trend lies far below that of Beyonce's. All the statistics truly support X being more globally known alright

Exactly, she's was a teen icon at best. I don't know how some people can make out she's the ultimate icon when she's only really appealed to a narrow demographic. Older people pay her no mind, because there's nothing worth taking note of anymore.
You can't say she's legendary because of the first few years of her career. It's about the whole picture, and rightly or wrongly it isn't looking too good. She was talented once upon a time, but I don't think it'll be enough when all is said and done.
